It’s a real joy and privilege for me to introduce you to a school where our central focus is building people and equipping them for Christian ministry. Our campus is defined by a Spiritual culture grounded in the revolutionary call of Jesus to fulfill God’s purposes in our generation. Our expectations for our students are high, because our expectations for what the Lord wants to accomplish through them are just as high! At FIRE Chicago, you will study, pray, worship, grow and serve Christ in an environment shaped by the power of the Gospel, and hope for a Spiritual awakening that will impact the Church and the broader culture in which we live.
I believe in long-term relationships with students. As a result, we have developed an equipping strategy that emphasizes personal connections and a vision of the overarching mission of God’s Kingdom. From the time students enter their first trimester, and beyond the time they graduate, FIRE Chicago seeks to provide them with solid biblical and theological foundations, hands-on ministry experience, personal mentorship by staff and faculty, and lifelong mission-minded partnerships.
Though our primary target is Chicago, we also enjoy an organic partnership with a broader network of churches and ministries in which these same values are affirmed and lived out: the Fellowship for International Revival and Evangelism (F.I.R.E.). This global network features “FIRE workers” ministering in over 20 nations across the globe, and has a track record of igniting Spiritual awakening through Gospel proclamation, selfless service and supernatural power. We seek to contribute to and expand these efforts by preparing and positioning Kingdom-minded laborers in our city and beyond.
